Knox’s Bible studies and book club are gearing up for a great fall season. Mark your calendars!
Morning Glory Bible study (formerly First Things First) will be starting up on Sunday, September 17th. We meet weekly on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. in the parlour. All are welcome. We’ll be exploring the Gospel of John.
Women and the Word Bible study will start again on Tuesday, September 19th. We meet weekly in the church parlour from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with fellowship before and after. We plan to begin with a meditation on a Psalm that relates to our main study of 1 and 2 Timothy, which will continue until before Christmas.
The Word on Thursday Bible study will start up again on September 21st from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. We meet in the parlour and will be starting with a study on Galatians. After that, we will move on to study Romans.
Bibles, Books and Bites will be starting up Monday, September 18th at 7:30 p.m. We’ll be reading the book “Fierce: Women of the Bible and their stories of violence, mercy, bravery, wisdom, sex, and salvation” by Alice Connor. Good Books (located at 588 Kerr St.) has ordered a number of copies for the group, so support your local Christian book store and pick yours up.
Sunday School starts on September 10th and will be continuing with Young Children in Worship for ages 2-3 to grade 3 and Echo the Story for the tweens (grade 4 and up).
