Knox and four other local churches will be employing four students this summer to help run their Vacation Bible School programs. Here are the details.
4 positions as Vacation Bible School Camp Counselors to enthusiastically participate in a multi-site Oakville Vacation Bible School Program. This exciting collaboration amongst 5 churches will provide opportunities for students to gain work experience related to leadership and teaching, role modeling/mentoring, team building, and sharing community resources.
The jobs average 40 hours/week for six weeks in July and August (including 2 training days – June 15 & 16)

Applicants must meet eligibility criteria as outlined below:
a) between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
b) registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year;
c) intends to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year;
d) is a student in a secondary, post-secondary, CEGEP (Quebec only), vocational or technical program;
e) is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. (Foreign students are not eligible.)
f) is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations.
