Messy Church is a way for children and adults to learn, grow, and encounter God together. Each Messy Church is built around a biblical theme, with relatable activities, songs and a celebratory dinner eaten as a community.
You’re welcome to come as you are able. You’re never “late” for Messy Church, and you don’t have to stay until the end.
Here’s what a typical gathering is like:
Our doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner starts at 6 p.m. We begin with the meal, which is provided by our church volunteers. After we’ve eaten, we enter our celebration time. This includes a story from the Bible, and perhaps a drama, some prayer, and/or songs. Then we explore the themes and story through crafts and activities.
Although the stories and activities are geared toward children, Messy Church is an experience for people of any age. It offers fellowship and fun to adults and kids alike.
