Knox is trying something new this year. We’ll be holding a service in MacMillan Hall on Thursday, April 18th at 7 p.m., incorporating elements of the Jewish Passover seder. The symbols and stories of Passover would have surrounded the moments we commemorate in the Sacrament of Communion, when Jesus shared the bread and cup with his disciples. In this service, we will remember not only the call of Christ to “do this in remembrance of me,” but also the story of the Exodus and the first Passover. This will be a symbolic meal, not an actual meal, so please eat dinner before you come. Because we will have limited space, we’re asking people to sign up on the doors of MacMillan Hall. This list will be used to assign the tables for the symbolic seder.
