Listen to these lessons on this Trinity Sunday May 26th, 2024 as The Rev. Jacqui teaches the concept of the Trinity that was finalized in the late 325ad, to articulate christainity beliefs in the oneness of God, coupled with the claims about Jesus and their experiences of the spirit. Trinity is language that we have created, and we use to understand and make meaning that we find quite mysterious and perplexing.
We can find the truth of it, not in the manusia of doctorine, but in community, in diversity, in choosing relationships over ocomes and productivity. We see the truth of it when we share, when we work for justice, when we give and recieve forgiveness. We see it in bread and wine broken and shared. We can see the truth of it in water, the waters of baptism specifically. Listen to the litergy in Baptism, in a way it reminds us of our identity, as a community that is many parts, that is a reflection of a God who is three in one , and one in three.
