Listen as Rev. Jacqui teaches the lesson from the story of ‘Naboth’s Vineyard’ as it is replete of greed, power, corruption and disregard of human life. She continues her lesson of how it isn’t that hard to make the connection of what we are learning these days of the incomprehensible damaged done over the past several centuries by colonizers, including the church here in Canada. We need to take seriously the spirit of the truth and reconciliation commission to it’s call to action, as it is the right thing to do, the just thing to do and the the most faithful, Christ like thing to do. As we are equipped with grace and equipped for grace as we are all children of God through faith. As many of us have been baptized into Christ have clothed ourself with Christ, then there is no longer greed, no longer free or slave, there is no longer male or female, as we are all one with Christ Jesus and if you belong to Christ then you belong to Abrahams off-spring, airs according to the promise.
