Worship

Service Times:

  • Sunday Services at 10 a.m. at our Downtown Campus
  • Dinner Church Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at our Downtown Campus

Worship gives Christians an opportunity to praise, listen, and respond to God. Our worship services combine prayer, music and Scripture-based preaching and teaching.

Sunday Worship

Location: Downtown Campus (89 Dunn St. / 250 Lakeshore Road E.)

On Sunday morning, a traditional atmosphere provides a link with our rich heritage while staying current with our ever-changing world. Music is a precious part of our Christian life at Knox. We’re blessed with amazing music leaders, and a talented Chancel Choir. Our music leaders and minister choose meaningful and beautiful hymns and choral music from the past, and the present.

With our Young Children and Worship program, children join the “big church” congregation for the first portion of the service, and then are invited downstairs to our children’s worship centre. They’re welcome to stay with their parents if they prefer, or parents can join them downstairs if it would make them more comfortable.

We offer “worship bags” with activities for children at the entrances to the sanctuary. Children are welcome to use the activities as they sit with their grown-ups. At the front, you’ll find a “prayground” with toys for toddlers and babies, and a table with colouring pages for older kids. We also provide a livestream of the service downstairs in our lower hall, where there are comfy couches, a change table, and toys, so those with little ones can have a second space available without missing any of the service.

If you aren’t able to join us in person, you can watch the service live on our website or YouTube channel, or enjoy it later in the week.

Our previous week’s service is also broadcast on Cogeco’s YourTV channel at 2 p.m. on Sundays.

After each service, you’re welcome to meet new friends over a cup of tea or coffee in the hall. We hope you’ll join us.

Dinner Church

Location: Downtown Campus (89 Dunn St. / 250 Lakeshore Road E.)

These are worship experiences based on the example of the early church in Acts 2. We join together for a meal, which incorporates worship and communion, and enjoy a conversational teaching time based on the scripture, themes, and sermon from the past Sunday.
